Helping in the Garden
Working on tasks in The Secret Garden is a different, creative experience, and you’ll contribute by improving the
environment, build team morale, enjoy being outdoors and having fun (for example Home Retail Group made 4 outings in 2015  -  so that does sound like it is enjoyable. We've been delighted by the amount and quality of their work, and of that of all the other teams who’ve helped us, thank you all!).

If you like the sound of this, please do contact us.

Welcome

Alongside the Grand Union Canal in the railway town of Wolverton, Milton Keynes, members of the local community have transformed a piece of derelict land into a new greenspace for the enjoyment of all - The Secret Garden.

On this site you can discover the process of the creation of The Secret Garden and the people involved. You can also find out about our latest news, forthcoming events and about opportunities to help in the garden.

  • Come and Volunteer!

Other than when we have companies helping us for a day (see above) all the upkeep of the gardens is done by volunteers and these days we're very shorthanded, so how about being a Secret Garden Volunteer?  Come and join us any Saturday morning between 10 and 12:30.  No need to be experienced, nor to arrange beforehand nor complete any paperwork, nor make a commitment for every week, nor stay for the entire time,,,,so you just turn up and a warm welcome awaits!
If the weather's inclement, you'll probably find us at Buskers nearby.
Maybeyou can't assist by gardening, just helping us keep the place free of litter is very helpful.

  • Secret Garden Events

For possibly the first time, there were no Summer Sunday concerts in 2015 which disappointed a lot of people. So, what's needed is someone(s) who’d be happy to arrange the 4-5 concerts each summer; bands who’d like to play here are also urged to get in touch... .As are people who'd like to use The Secret Garden for their party or celebration (just remembering it is a public space).
